Clay Newcomb’s Alaskan Wetsuit Bear Hide
This is the tanned hide from the black bear Clay Newcomb harvested during the SE Alaska hunt featured in Season 12, Episode 1 of MeatEater, filmed alongside Steve Rinella and Randall Williams. Using a boogie board and a wetsuit, Clay swam into position and took the bear with his bow at just 10 yards. (feet on the ground, of course.)
The hide has been professionally tanned and features Clay’s personal authentication on the reverse side. This is a truly one-of-a-kind piece of MeatEater history that would make a serious statement in any home, office, or cabin.
