Made with PFAS Chemicals

  • 170gm of PrimaLoft® Gold Down Insulation Fill (70% grey goose down/ 30% synthetic fill)
  • HeiQ XReflex face fabric reflects heat that would otherwise be lost through the shell
  • Full-length zippers down the front, rather than outseam, are biomechanically easier to zip, and the straight line direction helps prevent the zipper from getting caught on shell fabric
  • Box Baffle Construction for superior heat retention
  • 3/4 Length leg terminates just above boot or gaiter to save weight, and keep cuff away from abrasion and down-collapsing moisture
  • Bib height waist adds extra insulation up your torso to keep organs warm, in turn helping to keep extremities warm for long sits
  • Includes compression sack for packing volume in your pack
  • PFAS Free DWR Treatment

Q

Should i size up for wearing over other pants?

Asked by Jim
Verified Reply - ClaytonHey Jim! These bibs are designed as an outer layer so I would not size up!
Q

I do a lot of long hikes into the mountains for whitetails and am looking to cut pack space/weight. Could I replace my solitude bibs with these for all day sits in the saddle during the rut? Midwesterner here!

Asked by Nolan
Verified Reply - ClaytonHey Nolan! This is definitely not a bad plan! Although if you are worried about noise I might consider our whitetail specific bibs as there are made out of a less quiet material.
Q

Windproof? I love the uncompahgre but wind cuts right through it!

Asked by The breeze
Verified Reply - KyleThis is not a windproof bib. If you have access to the description that said this was windproof please send it our way! Thanks
Q

Is the down hydrophobic? Thinking about taking these on a sheep hunt.

Asked by Jess
Verified Reply - KyleYes, PrimaLoft Gold is hydrophobic. It's a synthetic/down blend, so you'll still want to make sure to have rain gear to put on over the top of it if it really starts raining.
Q

Would these work as an insulation layer under the long awaited "forge" wader?

Asked by Joe
Verified Reply - ClaytonHey Joe! You could definitely do that! I would recommend you are careful though, because they could get hot quickly when paired with a waterproof wader!
Q

How does the durability compare to the uncompahgre series?

Asked by Luke
Verified Reply - KyleBoth of these insulated pants are delicate and neither one is more durable than the other. You have to take care of these pants and reserve them for situations where no brush or rock can rip them.
Q

Are they water resistant?

Asked by Austin
Verified Reply - ClaytonHey Austin! So the Whitecloud Down Bibs are not "Waterproof" but will be water resistant to a certain point due to the DWR coating!
Q

How will the warmth compare to the uncompahgre for backcountry sitting sessions. I sometimes use my uncompahgre pants under my solitude bibs when it's really cold. Could these do that as well?

Asked by MIdeer
Verified Reply - KyleThese down bibs are warmer than the Uncompahgre pants. These could be layered as well, but they have more loft to them so it may be harder to layer.
Q

Can this be used as a midlayer under the sanctuary bibs?

Asked by Michael
Verified Reply - CodyThis would not be ideal. A better mid layer would be the Source jacket!
