It works. Had bull elk giving away their location and moving towards me. Combined with an Estrus call, I got the bull that I was stalking, to get super excited, scraping the ground, beating it's rack on brush, and making a big stink. Practice makes the caller confident.

phelpsgamecalls.com/Believe it or Not, I thought I would try this when I was Deer Hunting,, as I was using it and making different sounds I pulled in a Very Curious and Very large bodied 8 point Buck and 3 Does, I was thrilled beyond my wildest dreams. Needless to say, I tagged the Buck and 1 Doe!!! They say( Curiosity KILLED the Cat), this time, Curiosity killed the Deer!!!

phelpsgamecalls.com/The double reed will give you the sound you want but not without effort. It's harder to sustain your octave but in the transitions there is certainly a depth you can't get with a single Reed. I love this call.

phelpsgamecalls.com/This was the call that challenged me the most, but ended up being my transition from a begginer who could make basic bugles and cow sounds, to being able to shift pitch, tone, and, pressure to really annunciate sounds I was never able to do. This call has a really tight bound latex that forces you to learn to use your entire diaphragm to make sound. Love it. It's hard to pick only 1, but this might be it...

What is the difference between the smith signature V1.0 and 2.0? I'm guessing Single reed vs. double? But what is the sound difference?
- Asked by Barrett's gonna get Dragon bull..
- Verified Reply - CodyThe original 1.0 was a double and the new 2.0 is a single reed that plays much easier but a similar sound profile.
