The VX®-5HD 3-15x44mm is made for anything and everything. Its 3-15 magnification range lets you take full advantage of any situation. Turn the power down to 3 for thick timber hunting, crank it up to 15 for your trek across the open plains, or go anywhere in-between. The Leupold VX-5HD 3-15x44 CDS Wind Plex features a Wind Plex reticle designed for accurate crosswind compensation so you can take the perfect shot no matter the conditions. The VX-5 HD utilizes Twilight Max™ Light Management System and blackened lens edges to give you bright, high-definition images at dawn and dusk. The main tube is made of 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum and is sealed with an Argon/Krypton gas blend for waterproof and fog-proof integrity. Lenses are coated with Guard-Ion™ lens coating that sheds rain, dirt, and fingerprints for a maintenance-free clear image. Best Scope I've Ever Owned

This scope has the best optical clarity I've seen, even when compared to a friend's Nightforce NXS. The features are easy to use, including ""slipping the scales"".

Amazing quality and features for the price

The clarity, magnification, and features of this scope are amazing. It will take me a while to take advantage of all it can do - but it makes even the basics so much better. Combined with a ballistics app, it's so easy to figure out bullet drop and just dial it in on top of the scope so that the point of aim remains the same. I have theses on both of my hunting rifles now.

Awesome scope

I paired this scope up with a Tikka 300WSM a few years ago and have taken several elk and deer with it out to 400 yards in various N ID mountain conditions. It leaves a confidence inspiring stance that is essential in taking mountain meat. Wouldn't venture into the hills without it.
