Knife has surpassed expectations. I bought it for final trimming of elk meat and fish. Very sharp and easily handles the delicate work of removing silverskin or pin bones.
Buddy loaned me his to clean my elk with last month and as soon as i got back to civilization i ordered my own. Excellent for deboning quarters for long packs knife was still plenty sharp after skinning/deboning a bull definitely recommend
Great knife. Has a good feel in the handle and a light weight. Has worked well for my steak, we will see how it holds up on a deer this winter.
I have not yet got an Elk down, but I have an arrow with the big guys name on it. But for Fish and just cutting a side of beef Rib Eye, it is fantastic. so sharp, I could shave with it.
Bought this knife to process a bear after wanting it for quite some time. Makes processing a breeze. Stayed sharp. Will buy another before this fall so my wife has a quality processing knife as well.
