In collaboration with our friends at MKC, Steven Rinella worked closely with Josh Smith to develop the ultimate, do-it-all knife for the field. Meet the Stubhorn Hunter.

This blade is a true all-rounder, ready to tackle every task in a hunter's journey — from the moment you bag your game to the final preparation of a hard-earned meal by the campfire. It clearly captures Steven's vision: create a blade that's not only versatile enough to handle the entire hunting and harvesting process but also inviting and approachable for newcomers to the hunting world. The Stubhorn embodies Steve's welcoming spirit. Both highly capable and highly accessible, this knife will feel right at home in the hands of a seasoned pro or a complete beginner. Steve places a premium on clean opening cuts, so incorporating a surgical cutting tip was a no-brainer. Beyond that, the Stubhorn maintains a clean, classic shape with no hard edges.

Each Stubhorn comes with a custom MKC Kydex Sheath. The sheath features a built-in retention screw to customize blade tension and allow for handle-down carrying. The Stonewall sheath comes with a Kydex clip that allows you to carry your knife on a pack or belt loop, either horizontally or vertically.

This knife came laser sharp out of the box. Handle is a great shape and size for good grip. Love the color and texture of the G10. This is a very very sturdy knife ready for hard use. Love the magnacut steel. Lasermarks are deep and very clean. Balance is towards the back of handle making for great control of the blade. Good belly for skinning and strong precise tip. Very very nice knife and well worth the money!

This knife delivers exactly what you should expect from a collab of MKC and MeatEater. It's stupid expensive, but worth it. I was able to attach it to my FFH harness without a problem.

Well built solid knife. Sheeth however is kinda neat and functional, but is plastic and screwed together. I am already missing 2 screws.
