Good read

I've spent a lot of time out in backcountry. Learned a lot in my life time. But it's is fun to revisit certain things and or see how other people do it. And you're always learning in life, so you might learn something new and o a better way. The introduction is what I tell newcomers to read, has some very strong points to pay attention too. Yes boys and girls, there's gorillas out there. Yes gorillas.
Excellent survival reference book
Rated 5 out of 5 starsFormer Special Forces senior instructor in SERE (Survival-Evasion-Resistence-Escape) and lifelong hunter/fisherman. No fluff in Steve's book, just solid core of skills and survival thinking. I have a large survival reference library/collection and proudly added this excellent book to it. Print is easy to read and covers durable. Inex makes finding specific topics easy. I like the well thought out lists and that Steve names products and brands to use.
