Perfect upgrade to chest rig. Works great for stand hunting or small game as an alternative to dedicated bino harness where your not using your binos quite as much and want extra storage as well.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Works great in the rig, stays in place and is a solid anchor place for the binos. Lanyard might be a little short if you're tall - I'm not and have the leash extended as far as it goes. Good design with the parachute clip to remove the binos completely from the leash for tripod glassing. Great product.

I was running my binoculars loose in the FHF chest rig. Purchased the bino bucket and it is a total game changer. Makes the internal space more organized and efficient.

Used for Vortex 8x32 in my chest rig, worked as it should have, need a size for a rangefinder, ran another companies and it fit nicely together in the rig. Only pic I have as I passed my chest rig and contents on to my daughter this year so I'll be replacing them all.

Excellent and well thought out.

Q&A

Q

Has anyone tried the bino bucket in one of the Hill People Gear chest packs? I'm sure it's not optimum but seems like it would work given the hook/loop strip in the "gun compartment". Thanks

Asked by Mike
Verified Reply - ChaseHey Mike! Thank you for reaching out to us. This Bino Bucket is specifically designed for our FHF chest rig. However based off the dimensions of the Hill People Gear rigs it could work but I am not certain of that. Based of dimensions of both it should fit.
Q

Will the bino bucket fit my 10x42 swaro el range ta binos ? Thanks

Asked by Chad
Verified Reply - KyleThis will fit binos up to 6.5 inches. It looks like your binos are 6.6 inches so they won't fit or it would be a really tight fit. You can always measure them yourself to confirm the actual height.
Q

Hi there, would you happen to know if my Vortex Viper 10x50 would fit the bino bucket? Or would I need to get the Optics Pad to use the chest rig for those?

Asked by Simon
Verified Reply - KyleIt's more of a question if they'd fit inside the Chest Rig. Vortex shows that those have a height of 6.5 inches. Our chest rig has a heigh of 6 inches so they will not fit vertically. Go with the Optics Pad to make this set up work.
Q

How well do the Vortex Fury's HD5000 fit in? Their rubber coating makes it difficult to fit in the standard vortex harness despite only being marginally bigger than the diamondbacks. Will I have the same issue the FHF bucket and bino harnesses?

Asked by Rob
Verified Reply - KyleI'd recommend checking out the FOB. The bucket style design makes it to fit a variety of optics inside it. You could getting measure your Fury's and compare them to the the sizing below. Going with a large to make sure the rubber won't catch the sides of the bucket could be a good option for you! Standard: Height 7", Width 5.25", Depth 2.5" Large: Height 8.75", Width 6", Depth 2.75"
Q

I have the Vortex diamondback 10X42, would they fit in the bino bucket?

Asked by Monksjm
Verified Reply - NathanYes, the Vortex Diamondback 10x42's will fit within the Bino Bucket!
Q

I run a pair of vortex diamondback 8x42 would I be better served with this or the Optics pad?

Asked by Jared
Verified Reply - CarlHi Jared! The bino bucket will fit your binoculars well, we typically recommend the optics pad for people with 15x or 18x binoculars.
Q

Will the bino bucket accommodate vortex crossfire 8x42's with enough room to store other gear in the chest rig?

Asked by Scott
Verified Reply - CarlHi Scott! The best way to know for certain is to compare the size of your binoculars to the size of the pouch. At the widest they can be 5 inches, and at the deepest 2.5 inches. Using a Bino Bucket is a great way to take the next step to organize your Chest Rig, you'll have room for more small/medium sized gear.
Q

Hey there! Curious as to how this would fit my Vortex Viper HD 10x50 binos. They are 6.5" tall. Would it be easy access all day or would it be a tight squeeze getting them in and out? Thank you.

Asked by Kenneth
Verified Reply - JakeHi Kenneth, the bino bucket will accommodate up to 6" in overall length if run in the the chest rig. Have a great day.
Q

Will it work with vortex 12x50 crossfire HD?

Asked by Jordan
Verified Reply - JakeUnfortunately they will not. Your binos must be 6" in length or under. Have a good day.
