You're not just getting a cook book here, this thing is packed with information. Example, there is a whole section dedicated to just smoking meals, and how many ways to do so.

I use the book for of course recipes on all wild game it is really useful when we want to try something new. It has a ton of great recipes and even how to process the animal if you aren't sure how.

I love this cookbook! My husband and I use it all the time for the wild game we have. It's fun to try the different recipes, plus there is a ton of helpful information in it!

Is there a main focus of this cookbook as far as the game species? I primarily hunt deer, turkey, upland birds, and some waterfowl. I was researching game cookbooks and this one came up but there was mention of recipes for crawfish, sea cucumbers, and other obscure animals that I would simply never use. I just want to know if there are enough recipes in here that I could actually use to justify the purchase.
