This is a rock solid lockup mount that is very sturdy. I have the tall and use Burris Elite 12 power Binoculars with ease. Do not second guess this setup. Once you clip your Binoculars in you can lock them in with screwing down the knurled cap on top. It is easy to un clip by just pushing down.
