This is a great seasoning for pan seared fish. Citrus leads the flavor with no extra saltiness. I used up my first shaker and will replace it with a larger size this time.

Best Salmon Rub!

Title sums it up. This has been my go to rub for salmon for the last year or so. I work out of town a lot and one of the guys I work with hates fish. I baked a salmon with Mermaid's Trident and had him try it, he inhaled half the filet. Said it was the best fish he ever had and immediately asked me where he could buy the seasoning lol. I do a pretty simple bake, 21-23 minutes @ 415 for a thick 1"+ salmon filet. Place the salmon skin side down, apply a generous layer of Mermaid's Trident, put a few slices of non-salted butter on top, place in oven. Rotate baking sheet 180* when it's halfway done for an even bake.

So Yummy!!

My hubby uses this on his bacon wrapped shrimp and I can’t get enough of them. Hands down my favorite thing to eat. We pair them with a nice waygu steak seasoned with the umami rub (Gnome on the range) and I’m in heaven! I enjoy it in my tuna salad and even as seasoning on my deviled eggs too . You won’t be sorry for buying!! So good
