With our friends at Timber Ninja Outdoors, we're excited to introduce the C1 Carbon Fiber Climbing Stick, now in First Lite's Specter Camo. Mark Kenyon and Clay Newcomb used these sticks during the One Week In November hunt and they agree these are the lightest, quietest and strongest sticks those guys have climbed with yet. Built with the mobile hunter in mind and heavily tested for strength and durability, the C1 Sticks are the safest on the market. At MeatEater, we believe speed is a competitive advantage. If you want a "hunt-ready" product that doesn't need a modification, pick up a C1 Stick today. The Specter Camo version is available only at MeatEater.

Note: The Timber Ninja attachment cord is sold separately.

Not very well built

The steps on the sticks squeak and wiggle when you climb and this only gets more distinct over time. Having the step move when you put weight on it is not confidence inspiring and I recently had to stop using mine as the carbon portion supporting the step actually snapped. They are very lightweight but i fear it has been at the cost of strength. They sit in the corner now unused as I am unwilling to trust them any further.

Super light

I use this climbing stick with a climbing aider and use the one stick method of climbing. The stick is super light and hasn't failed yet after over 100 hunts. The only flaw to note is the bolts which hold the steps have some surface rust.

Their not worth the money

They are lite.. They don't stack well and make alot of noise where step meets sticks. Haven't tried other companies products but I'm sure they are better at this price range. They are decent at bitting into the tree also.

Disappointing
No Fing strap.

Read the fine print. 200$ apparently doesn't buy a tree step with a attachment strap. Kinda crooked. Light, quiet and compact. Should come with a strap!!!!!!!!!
